SEO is the heart of what VersaForge does. We have ranked businesses at position 1 across more than thirty countries, in some of the most competitive commercial markets in the US, UK and Canada. As an SEO Expert, you own that outcome for your client accounts - the strategy, the execution, and the results.

This is genuinely results-accountable SEO, not activity for its own sake. You will plan and run full-funnel strategies: technical audits and fixes, keyword and content strategy, on-page optimisation, and ethical off-page and link-building campaigns. But the number that matters is not a vanity ranking - it is the qualified enquiries and revenue your work generates for the client. You will report in those terms, and you will be trusted to make the calls that get there.

A typical month sees you auditing a new client's site and driving the fixes to completion, researching and prioritising the keywords that actually convert, shaping a content plan with our writers, running outreach and off-page work, and monitoring rankings, traffic and conversions so you can adjust before a problem becomes a trend. You will own the client relationship for SEO - explaining what you are doing, why, and what it is producing.

Search is changing faster than it has in a decade. AI Overviews, answer engines and evolving local search are reshaping how businesses get found, and we expect our experts to lead that thinking rather than react to it. You should be someone who reads the changes early, tests them, and brings the team a point of view.

You will work alongside other SEO specialists, analysts, writers and designers, and you will have real ownership from day one. For someone who wants to prove they can rank hard terms and grow into a senior or lead SEO role, this is a place to do career-defining work.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute full-funnel SEO strategies for client accounts, owning the outcome end to end.
• Run thorough technical audits and drive the fixes to completion with developers and the team.
• Lead keyword research and content strategy, prioritising terms by commercial intent and winnability.
• Manage on-page optimisation across titles, structure, internal linking, schema and Core Web Vitals.
• Plan and oversee ethical off-page and link-building campaigns.
• Monitor rankings, traffic and conversions, diagnosing changes and adjusting strategy proactively.
• Own client communication for SEO - reporting on outcomes in terms of enquiries and revenue, not just positions.
• Stay ahead of algorithm updates, AI search and local SEO, and bring the team a clear point of view.
• Mentor junior analysts and raise the standard of SEO craft across accounts.
